Rush winners of 2 straight

The Sydney Mitsubishi Rush are on a two-game winning streak.

The Rush picked up their second victory of the season on Thursday, doubling the Cape Breton West Islanders 4-2 at the Al MacInnis Sports Centre in Port Hood.

Rookie Drew MacIntyre scored twice, while Trey Sturge and Riley Seymour also found the back of the net for Sydney (2-9-1-0).

Luke Hadley and Daniel LeBlanc replied with goals for the Islanders (2-9-0-0).

Jack Cashen made 34 saves for Sydney. Adam Tkacz stopped 17 of 20 shots before being replaced by Kenzie MacPhail, who turned aside 19 of 20 shots. Tkacz was tagged with the loss.
